Who we are

Zeitlos.care (Zeitlos Family Care Hub) is an independent informational website offering general home and family organization information and free browser-based tools for U.S. households. In this policy, "Zeitlos," "we," and "us" mean the operator of Zeitlos.care.

You can reach us by email at hello@zeitlos.care. We do not offer a phone line, contact form, user accounts, newsletter, or comments.

Zeitlos is not a healthcare provider and is not a HIPAA-covered entity. We make no HIPAA, certification, or compliance claims. Please do not send us medical or other sensitive information.

Summary

What you type into our tools stays in your browser on your device. It is not sent to our servers.
Google Analytics loads only after you click "Allow analytics." You can change your choice anytime through "Privacy choices" in the footer.
No ads are currently shown on the site.
If you buy the Zeitlos Family Care Binder, Stripe processes the payment. We never receive your full card number.
We do not sell personal information, and we honor Global Privacy Control signals.

Information we collect, and information we do not

Depending on how you use the site, we may receive:

Technical request data that our hosting provider records in server logs (see "Hosting and server logs" below).
Analytics data, only if you opt in (see "Analytics").
Purchase information from Stripe if you buy the Zeitlos Family Care Binder (see "Payments").
Email correspondence if you write to us: your email address, name if you include it, and whatever you choose to write.

We do not collect the plans, lists, notes, inventories, or photos you create in our free tools. We do not run user accounts, newsletters, contact forms, or comment sections, so we do not collect information through them.

Free tools and browser storage

Our free tools, including the Home Comfort Planner, Household Organizer, Family Responsibility Planner, Home Inventory Planner, Family Memory Book Creator, and our printable checklists, run entirely in your web browser.

What you type is saved only in your browser's local storage on that device, so your work is there when you come back.
Photos you add to the Family Memory Book Creator are stored in your browser's IndexedDB on that device.
This information is not sent to Zeitlos servers, and we cannot see it, recover it, or delete it for you.
Exports such as JSON files, PDFs, and printouts are created on your device.

You can remove tool data at any time with each tool's "Start a new plan" or "Clear" button, or by clearing this site's data in your browser settings. Anyone with access to your device and browser profile may be able to see saved tool data, so consider this on shared computers.

Please do not enter sensitive information into the tools, such as Social Security numbers, financial account numbers, passwords, medical records, or diagnoses.

The site also uses a few functional storage items, such as zeitlos_lang (your language preference) and zeitlos_consent (your privacy choices). Our Cookie Policy lists each item.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand, in aggregate, which pages are visited and how the site performs. Google Analytics loads only after you click "Allow analytics" in the privacy banner. Until then, no Google Analytics script runs and no Google Analytics cookies are set.

We use Google Consent Mode. Advertising-related settings (ad_storage, ad_user_data, and ad_personalization) are always set to denied. Analytics storage is granted only after you opt in.

If you allow analytics, Google may receive information such as pages viewed, approximate location derived from your IP address, device and browser type, referring page, and interactions with the site. Google processes this data under its own terms and privacy policy, available at policies.google.com/privacy (opens in a new tab). You can change or withdraw your choice anytime through the "Privacy choices" link in the footer. When you withdraw consent, the site stops analytics and deletes the Google Analytics first-party cookies (_ga and _ga_*) that it can access.

Advertising

No ads are currently displayed on Zeitlos.care, and no Google AdSense ad script is loaded. The site includes only a Google AdSense site-verification tag and an ads.txt file. If we enable ads in the future, they will be labeled "Advertisement," we will use a Google-certified consent management platform where required, and we will update this policy before ads appear. Affiliate links

Some pages include labeled links to Amazon.com. Zeitlos.care participates in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program. When you click one of these links, Amazon opens in a new tab and the link includes our tracking tag so Amazon can credit qualifying purchases. Amazon may set cookies and collect information on its own site under its own privacy notice. We do not receive your name or order details from Amazon. See our Affiliate Disclosure.

Payments

The Zeitlos Family Care Binder is sold through a checkout page hosted by Stripe, Inc. Stripe processes your payment, and we never receive your full card number. Stripe shares with us your name, email address, the billing details it collects, and the payment status. We use this information to confirm your purchase, provide access to your downloads, answer support requests, process refunds, and keep business and tax records.

After payment, Stripe sends you to our payment-success page, where a Zeitlos server function checks with Stripe that the checkout session was paid for this product before showing download links. Hosting and server logs

The site and its serverless functions are hosted by Vercel Inc. Like most hosts, Vercel processes technical request data in server logs, such as IP address, browser or user agent, the requested URL, and the time of the request, for security and operations. Vercel's privacy policy is at vercel.com/legal/privacy-policy (opens in a new tab).

Our fonts are self-hosted, so loading a page does not send requests to Google Fonts.

Email correspondence

If you email us, we use your message and email address to reply, help with purchases, handle privacy requests, and keep a record of the conversation. Please do not include sensitive personal, medical, or financial details.

We do not sell personal information. We share information only as described in this policy:

With service providers that help run the site: Vercel (hosting), Stripe (payments), and Google (analytics, only if you opt in).
When required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of our visitors, the site, or others.
As part of a transfer of the website or business, in which case this policy would continue to apply to information we hold.

How long we keep information

Emails: kept as long as needed to answer you and for our records.
Payment records: Stripe retains payment records according to its policies. We keep purchase records as needed for support, refunds, and legal and tax obligations.
Analytics data: retained as configured in our Google Analytics settings.
Server logs: retained by Vercel according to its policies.
Tool data: stays in your browser until you clear it. We never hold it.

Your U.S. state privacy rights

Depending on where you live, such as California and other states with consumer privacy laws, you may have the right to:

Know what personal information we have collected about you and how we use it.
Delete personal information we hold about you, subject to legal exceptions.
Correct inaccurate personal information.
Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, or its use for targeted advertising. We do not sell or share personal information for these purposes.

To make a request, email hello@zeitlos.care and describe what you are asking for. We will take reasonable steps to verify your request, usually by confirming details connected to the email address or purchase involved, and we will respond within the time required by applicable law. You may use an authorized agent where the law allows. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights.

Because tool data stays in your browser, we cannot access or delete it. You can delete it yourself as described above.

Global Privacy Control

We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals sent by your browser as a request to opt out of any sale or sharing of personal information and of advertising personalization.

Children

Zeitlos.care is written for adults and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, email us and we will delete it.

Security

We use reasonable measures to protect the information we receive, including HTTPS, a reputable hosting provider, and a payment provider that handles card data so we never see it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Protecting tool data on your device depends on your device and browser security.

International visitors

Zeitlos.care is intended for a U.S. audience. If you visit from outside the United States, your information may be processed in the United States and in other countries where our service providers operate.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when our practices change, for example before ads are ever enabled. We will post the revised version on this page and change the "Updated" date.
